About the OPPORTUNITY We have an opportunity to join our Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors program as an Electronic Technician, based at Edinburgh Parks Adelaide. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight. The Electronic Technician will support the engineering effort in the Electronic Warfare Sensors and Effectors (EWS&E) group. Key responsibilities include: * Assemble and wire analogue, digital and microwave prototype and production equipment * Design, construct, test, fault find and modify prototype, production equipment and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for radio frequency, analogue and digital * Support production of circuit board layouts, schematics and diagrams. * Produce radio frequency and analogue PCBs using the PCB Milling prototyping system * Support the Engineering Warfare Lab Manager in day to day operation of the lab environment About YOU * Relevant qualification or experience in Electronics * Aptitude in problem solving, ideally in fault finding of electronic systems and equipment * Keen interest in electronics manufacturing and engineering drawings and specifications * Interest, and ideally experience using CAD packages * Good computer literacy * Good communications skills * Enjoys working in a team environment We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
