Job Description

We are recruiting for an Electronics Design Engineer to join an internationally recognised electronics product development company based in North Cambridgeshire. They have been developing next generation consumer electronics products for almost 40 years.

Working with a close-knit R&D team you will be focused on developing the next generation of customer electronics products.

Electronics Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Prototyping ideas.
• Electronic schematic design.
• PCB layout design.
• Compliance support for 3rd party compliance test houses.
• Working with the software team to ensure best performance from the product design.

Electronics Design Engineer Requirements

• Recent and relevant experience of hardware development for Electronic products (ideally for consumer electronics.
• Analogue and digital signal design.
• Altium schematic/PCB design (experience of alternate CAD systems considered).
• Design for manufacture and product compliance.
• An ambitious and dynamic individual, hungry to prove they can make a success of this challenging role.
• Gets on with others in a small, focussed team working to deadlines.
• Good attention to detail and organised.
• Able to work individually, but also fit well with the company’s culture and be a team-player.

Job Title - Electronics Design Engineer

Salary: £45k - £55k
