Electronics Design Engineer
We are seeking a talented Electronics Design Engineer with a strong background in electronics and mechanics to join our innovative team. You will play a crucial role in system design, integration, and reliability for our advanced electromechanical products used in material testing and food & beverage industries.
This position offers the opportunity to work with complex systems in precision measurements, allowing you to apply your expertise across multiple engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Design, test, and assemble electronics and system integrations for precision instruments
Identify and implement product improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and reduce costs
Develop automated test systems to monitor instrument performance
Troubleshoot hardware and electronic faults in production units and new products
Create technical documentation including requirements specifications, PCB schematics, test reports, and engineering change notes
Contribute to new product development as part of our R&D/Engineering team
Support production improvements through the Engineering Change Note processQualifications
Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3-5 years' relevant experience
Proven experience with electrical/electronic instrumentation and troubleshooting
Strong background in digital and analogue electronics design using KiCAD
Experience with embedded electronics (I2C, SPI, MCU)
Knowledge of industrial design and mechanical manufacturing environments
Hands-on approach with excellent practical skills
EMC/LVD testing experience for CE marking (beneficial)
German skills (advantageous)Technical Skills
Component-level electronics troubleshooting (wiring, fuses, switches, heaters, motors)
PCB design and manufacturing support
Test instrumentation development and automation
Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)
Experience with material testing or gas processing systems (desirable)Personal Attributes

Methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proactive with good energy and ability to adapt to changing priorities
