Electronics Design Engineer - £30k-£35k – Southampton, Hampshire\n\nPlease note: Due to the secure nature of some of the projects involved in this role, the company does require employees with a UK Passport.\n\nAre you an ambitious Electronics Design Engineer with a desire to work in a dynamic team on highly innovative technology?\n\nThis role is for a start up technology company that are involved in the development of laser technology, you’ll be involved in designing the electronics and firmware used to control high-power fibre-lasers.\n\nThe job would suit someone who is capable of developing Hardware and Embedded Software and looking for an opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive enviroment with guidance from the companies Lead Engineer.\n\nEssential skills and experience:\n\n * A good knowledge of Digital Electronics\n\n * Embedded C for Microcontrollers (ARM/STM an advantage)\n\n * Some FPGA/VHDL knowledge\n\n * Schematic capture (Altium use an advantage)\n\nAny experience in the following would also be useful but not essential:\n\n * Experience in machine control, data communications interfaces such as USB, Ethernet and CAN\n\n * Chassis wiring design and cable management\n\n * EMC\n\n * Weak signal amplifier circuits\n\n * C#\n\nFor more information please click ‘apply’ and I will contact you for an information conversation
