Overview Hire Resolve’s client is urgently in search of an experienced Electronic Engineer to join their team in Eersteriver, Cape Town. Responsibilities Conceptualizing, designing and prototyping electronic systemsCollaborating with mechanical, electrical and software engineers to integrate components seamlesslyConducting feasibility studies and technical analysis to ensure the viability and functionality of proposed solutionsParticipating in the testing, debugging and troubleshooting of mechatronic systemsAssisting in the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, manuals and reportsStaying up-to-date with the latest advancements in electronic and related fieldsEmbedded CAD designsDo modelling and prototyping of new designs to test their viability before undergoing productionDesign test jigs and test procedures for the products that was designedWrite microchip firmware in CTroubleshooting hardware issuesResearch and design concept formation for new projects and also improving on old and outdated productsWorking in a team to get time critical tasks completed within the required deadlinesKnowledge of RF layout would be beneficial Requirements Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronic Engineering or a related fieldStrong foundation in electronic design principles and experience with PCB CAD software (., Diptrace, Eagle)Familiarity with programming languages such as C, VB6, MPLAB or SILABSFull electronic product design life cycleEmbedded Electronics IOT designFirmware (C, Micro)PCB Layout (Diptrace, Eagle, Altium)Experience conforming to SANS/IEC standards would be beneficialTest CAD designExcellent communication and documentation skillsCritical ThinkingProject ManagementSolid understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including circuit design, embedded microcontrollers and sensors Benefits Salary: R480K/yr – R600K/yr, negotiableOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience You are also welcome to contact Giné Gebhardt on LinkedIn or 021 180 0871Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
