Now Hiring! Electronics Engineering Technician
Location: Lockport, IL 60441
Schedule: Full Time; Onsite
What You’ll Do:
- Use schematics, oscilloscopes, and other tools to troubleshoot PCB assembly to component level.
- Final “box build”, testing and calibration of Electrical Test & Measurement equipment.
- Repair, test, & calibrate customer units which have been returned for service.
- Complete and maintain production documentation, including repair database and inventory management.
- Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and application assistance.
- Work in a team environment with engineering, sales, production, and purchasing personnel.

What You’ll Need:
- A thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory.
- Experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies.
- Experience with standard manufacturing processes and software applications.
- Skilled in the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools; SMT soldering and de-soldering are a plus.
- Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.
- Must possess solid judgment and decision-making skills.
- Must be well organized and be able to multi-task.
- Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.
- Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player
What You'll Bring:
- A 2-year degree in electronics and/or military school.
- 2+ years of experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, and performing tests and calibration.
- Good eye-hand coordination.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
