Now Hiring! Electronics Engineering Technician
Location: Lockport, IL 60441
Schedule: Full Time; Onsite

What You’ll Do:

  • Use schematics, oscilloscopes, and other tools to troubleshoot PCB assembly to component level.
  • Final “box build”, testing and calibration of Electrical Test & Measurement equipment.
  • Repair, test, & calibrate customer units which have been returned for service.
  • Complete and maintain production documentation, including repair database and inventory management.
  • Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and application assistance.
  • Work in a team environment with engineering, sales, production, and purchasing personnel.

What You’ll Need:

  • A thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory.
  • Experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies.
  • Experience with standard manufacturing processes and software applications.
  • Skilled in the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to use hand tools; SMT soldering and de-soldering are a plus.
  • Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.
  • Must possess solid judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Must be well organized and be able to multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.
  • Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player

What You'll Bring:

  • A 2-year degree in electronics and/or military school.
  • 2+ years of experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, and performing tests and calibration.
  • Good eye-hand coordination.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
