Emergency Response Programme Manager

Responsibilities: Researching various regions prone to natural disasters and coming up with specific preparedness plans. Ensuring all preparedness plans adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Assisting with the training of the public, public agencies, and private organizations in all disaster response protocols. Setting up emergency evacuation routes to reduce traffic and provide a safe escape for the community. Ensuring various agencies are in place to set up temporary shelters if needed. Coordinating the delivery of food, water, and medical supplies to areas that have been hit by a natural disaster. Helping communities affected by natural disasters to apply for federal funding. Maximizing disaster relief efforts by acting as the liaison between federal, state, local, and municipal agencies. Preparing status reports on the recovery efforts, needs, and preliminary damage assessments for all emergency situations. Planning and implementing community outreach programs.
