About the Role

As an Energy & Carbon Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting clients on their decarbonisation journeys. You will be directly involved in delivering technical expertise for energy efficiency and low-carbon projects while helping measure and analyse their environmental impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical reviews of applications, evaluating feasibility, value for money, and project risks.
  • Communicate with clients to address technical queries via email, calls, or in-person meetings.
  • Analyse energy and carbon savings data and produce performance reports.
  • Provide expertise on low-carbon technologies and support the creation of tools, case studies, and guidance materials.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, promoting best practices.
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, and training to share knowledge with clients and colleagues.
  • Support Salix’s communications team with technical input for marketing materials.


Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who demonstrates:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of energy efficiency, low-carbon technologies, and their applications in buildings.
  • Data Analysis: Proven ability to analyse energy and carbon data accurately.
  • Communication Skills: Confident communicator with a natural ability to build relationships and share knowledge effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at managing project risks and developing practical solutions.
  • Organisation: Exceptional time management and the ability to deliver on multiple projects effectively.


Qualifications Required:

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge and experience in energy services or sustainability is essential.
