Astute are recruiting for an experienced Energy Centre Manager to join the UK's leading district heating site in London. Whilst working as the Energy Centre Manager you'll be overseeing operations which provide heat, chill and power to both high profile commercial and residential customers.

Responsibilities and duties
Working as the Energy Centre Manager, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the reliable delivery of heat, chill and power to customers
Leading and managing a team of engineers
Providing HSE leadership
Managing the financial delivery of the site
Developing maintenance & operational strategies in line with the wider business
Managing maintenance contracts
Identify and analyse plant issues to improve plant reliability & availability
Managing and monitoring contractor performance
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Ideally qualified with an ONC / HNC / HND in a relevant engineering field
IOSH or equivalent is a must
At least five years' experience in a similar role from a similar industry such as CHP, Energy from Waste, Biomass etc
Experience in commercial contract management
Set & deliver strategic decisions
Authorised Engineer status
Personal skills
The Energy Centre Manager role would suit someone who is:
Experienced with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
