Responsibilities and Duties

As the Energy Centre Manager, you will be responsible for:


Ensuring the reliable delivery of heat, chill, and power to customers


Leading and managing a team of engineers


Providing HSE leadership


Managing the financial delivery of the site


Developing maintenance and operational strategies in line with the wider business


Managing maintenance contracts


Identifying and analyzing plant issues to improve plant reliability and availability


Managing and monitoring contractor performance

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:


Ideally qualified with an ONC / HNC / HND in a relevant engineering field


IOSH or equivalent is a must


At least five years' experience in a similar role from a related industry such as CHP, Energy from Waste, Biomass, etc.


Experience in commercial contract management


Ability to set and deliver strategic decisions


Authorized Engineer status

Personal Skills

The Energy Centre Manager role would suit someone who is:


Experienced with strong communication and interpersonal skills


Able to work under pressure


Excellent attention to detail
