Energy Procurement Manager - Ftse 250 Professional Services - Central London (Hybrid) - Circa £55k - £65k + Bonus & Package

This global professional services leader is looking to build their already market-leading procurement department with the implementation of an Energy Manager to ensure they optimise buying strategies for water, gas, and power requirements.
In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to shape a new focus for procurement to drive impact across a business-critical spend area.
This Energy Procurement Manager role will hold the following responsibilities:
Supporting the evaluation of competitive tenders for the supply of utilities spend and negotiating with suppliers on all commercial and contractual matters.
Acting as the liaison between the business and the energy broker, looking after a spend of around £50m.
Playing pivotal roles in the development, management, and implementation of comprehensive strategies on a global and regional basis to deliver impressive cost savings and wider commercial benefits that impact company results for energy spend.
Building strategic relationships with critical suppliers and developing risk mitigation strategies to provide secure and cost-effective sources for specialist commodities.
Benefiting from personally tailored professional development programmes to aid your quick progression within the company.
Assisting in all aspects of the sourcing process from supplier engagement and analysis through to contracts management.
Working with commercial teams to negotiate contracts and deliver savings and value add for the category.
Developing market know-how and gravitas to influence major decisions across the aviation units while working with senior stakeholders.
Seeking continued improvement in the category value while working closely with other members of the procurement team, internal stakeholders, and external parties.
Experiencing world-class training and development within a procurement function renowned for developing talent internally and progressing them through the ranks.
Experience required to be successful in this role:
3-5+ years of experience in energy management, working with energy brokers on the management of electricity, gas, and water.
Procurement/strategic sourcing/buying experience within complex global organisations is ideal.
Degree & CIPS qualifications though not essential.
