How You’ll Make an Impact
Understand the customer needs and market trends and provide the industry feedback to the research community
Actively scout for new technologies, applicable to various industrial applications, with academic and research institutions
Develop a thorough understanding of the grant eco-system (mapping and analyzing grant schemes) and R&D activities with key stakeholders across Asia Pacific
Influence the research communities (academic and research institutions) to actively work on industry priorities
Identify and manage suitable grants in Asia Pacific that can lead to successful product development
Communicate progress of various programs within the organization, identifying potential areas of concern and support
What You Bring
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science equivalent
10+ years of experience required for progressively responsible experience in engineering or related technical discipline.
Prior experience in R&D program/grant program/product management
Ability to work in a matrix and geographically diverse business environment.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.
Experience working in a cross-division business unit model.
Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time, including internationally.
