Energy Storage Leader (EV)

Job Description

A world-renowned luxury automotive brand that has been crafting iconic, high-performance vehicles for over a century is currently seeking an Energy Storage Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-time delivery of the different commodities identified as key areas in the High Voltage battery systems.\n  \n The Energy Storage Leader will:\n \nWork cross-functionally with other R&D departments to align strategies and resources to meet the programme needs. \nAcquire and evaluate competitor benchmark information to influence concept creation in early project phases.

\nCoordinate system and supplier comparison studies and evaluate RFQ responses to influence management decisions. \nDefine and own the strategy towards system engineering for the HV Batteries across platforms. \nIdentify the industry trends for Battery Management Systems and the suitability for the different applications.

 \n The Energy Storage Leader will have:\n \nEngineering Degree in Electrical, Electronic and/or related field. \nPrevious experience on Systems Engineering for HV Batteries, both design and validation from early stages of research to production. \nKnowledge of all relevant vehicle legislation and certification requirements for automotive high voltage automotive battery packs and associated HV systems.

\nHands on experience of working with LV and HV systems. \nPrevious experience on Battery Management Systems, both design and validation from early stages of research to production. \nStrong teamwork and collaboration skills, self-motivated, eager to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision.
