Energy & Water Efficiency Performance Director

Job Description The Energy & Water Efficiency Performance Director is responsible for supporting the Executive Director for Energy Efficiency in driving Energy & Water Efficiency Centres strategies and initiatives by defining innovative technological solutions and providing insight, technical and methodological expertise, in all sectors including residential, commercial, government, industrial, agriculture, etc. Furthermore, the Energy & Water Efficiency Performance Director is responsible for ensuring that the innovative solutions proposed are in line with the company's broader plans for taking forward the development of the sector in an effective and efficient manner and ensuring that they are properly documented, updated, communicated, and enforced, to drive improvement and changes in the sector. In addition, the Energy & Water Efficiency Performance Director is in charge of effectively disseminating information on energy and water efficiency issues in order to foster informed discussions, engagement, and decision making. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, design and model innovative energy and water efficiency solutions. Work with innovation development teams to conduct insights and design outputs for their work. Manage and evaluate portfolio data and innovation projects in order to aid strategic decision-making. Create, research, develop, analyze, and propose new technological innovations and strategies. Manage team functions and activities in order to provide strategic direction. Ensure that decision-making authority is shared in order to translate strategies into procedures and programs. Make the workplace a performance-oriented environment. Perform as a strategic partner in the leadership of influence change and new processes. Concurrently lead and direct various cross-functional programs and projects of varying sizes and types. Contribute to and influence the strategic direction of senior leadership through formal and informal communications. Undertake or commission research to support the development and implementation of energy sector policies, identifying gaps, potential alternatives, and contributing to the policy development process to ensure that policies remain consistent with government decisions, best practices, and new trends and technologies. Develop methodologies to assess the social, economic, and environmental impact of new policies and plans on the sector. Coordinate working groups and committee meetings, as well as develop and implement innovative solutions and initiatives, to communicate with external stakeholders and facilitate engagement.
