Engineer, Environmental Health & SafetyThe Global EHS Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and accounting of company-wide EHS performance against targets and implementation of enterprise-wide EHS programs and management systems (ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO46001, ISO50001) for ADI’s worldwide manufacturing operations and satellite locations. This role will include providing technical support on strategic EHS projects as well as due diligence/assurance activities, especially in the Asia region. This position is based in Cavite, Philippines and will report to the Global EHS Manager.Job DescriptionResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Monitoring, accounting and reporting of environmental and Health & Safety (EHS) indicators across all sites of the company using traditional and automated/digital solutions.Leading the generation of EHS performance reports for individual manufacturing sites and the company as a whole.Leading the validation of environmental and safety indicators to ensure data integrity.Supporting the establishment of management systems (e.g. ISO14001, 45001, 46001, 50001) and corporate EHS standards to document minimum, standardized requirements to drive first-in-class safety and environmental performance and ensure efficiency in our operations.Supporting corporate EHS audit program to ensure global and site compliance to EHS standards and regulatory requirements.Providing EHS subject matter expertise and technical support as needed to sitesCollaborating with cross-functional teams worldwideSupporting ADI’s review and publication of the annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report.Supporting the development of carbon footprint reports for products and operations.Executing roadmaps to help ADI achieve its sustainability targets.Participating in sustainability initiatives to help ADI achieve its sustainability targets on GHG, energy, water and landfill waste reduction.Leading activities related to environmental protection.Facilitating benchmarking and best practices sharing.Providing remote EHS support for some of ADI’s satellite locations.Development of responses to customer and stakeholder information requests related to ADI’s global EHS programs.Minimum QualificationsBS Degree in Chemical Engineering; Occupational Safety, Health and Environment, Environmental Science/Engineering, or related technical fieldAt least 3 years of experience in the areas of environmental, sustainability or occupational safety and healthExperience working in a global organization or multinational company settingExperience in EHS digitalization or automation solutionsWorking knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NIOSH and DOT regulations as well as ISO 14001 45001, 46001 and 50001 requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead projects across the organization and influence peersAttention to detail and demonstration of analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently under minimal supervisionExperience in engaging with 3rd parties, e.g., consultants, regulatory agencies, industry consortia, standards bodiesUnderstanding of developing & using metrics to analyze data to allow better data driven decision makingAbility to travel (20%)Desired QualificationsSemiconductor or electronics industry experienceStrong background in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, environmental compliance, and/or sustainability, but with some exposure or familiarity to all aspectsExperience with external disclosures and reporting standards, e.g., CDP, GRI, TCFD, SASBUnderstanding of carbon accounting and sustainability initiatives (Carbon Neutrality, Net Zero, GHG Protocol, Scope 3 emissions, etc.)Adept in data management and visualization toolsAuditing skills or experience on ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO46001 and ISO50001Job Req Type: ExperiencedRequired Travel: Yes, 10% of the timeShift Type: Normal Time (Philippines)
