What you'll do:
Join eShocan, an innovative brand poised to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck and rugged SUV marketplace, by contributing to the following key initiatives:
- Lead LV Wiring Harness Design: Own the design of all low voltage (LV) wiring harnesses for eShocan's all-electric pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs. This includes the creation of schematics, bill of materials (BOM), component selection, and wire harness prints.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Partner with Purchasing and Finance teams to develop the technical specifications necessary for quoting and sourcing harnesses and components under your responsibility.
- Coordinate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with module owners, and suppliers to define, release, and manage all LV wire harnesses associated with eShocan's products.
- Cultivate a High-performance Culture: Contribute to a diverse and collaborative team, fostering continuous learning and professional growth among team members.
- Conduct Testing and Validation: Lead virtual and physical verification testing, including field testing, to ensure optimal product performance and reliability.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all designs conform to relevant safety standards and U.S. government regulations.
- Drive System Improvements: Stay attuned to consumer experience feedback and propose design and system improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support Production Facility Design: Play an active role in designing and establishing production facilities for eShocan's trucks and SUVs.
- Manage Supplier Resources: Efficiently manage supplier resources to ensure wire harness designs meet cost, timing, and quality targets.

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical wire harness design and release within the automotive industry, covering all phases of product development (design, test, and launch).
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical skills in wire harness component design and release, with experience applying a six-sigma approach to engineering design and problem-solving.
- CAE Familiarity: Experience with computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools or similar platforms.
- Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues across all organizational levels.
