We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:If you are interested in working on some of the world’s largest and most complex engineering projects, Parsons is the place for you! As an engineering coordinator, you will provide engineering administrative and organizational support for a major project or possibly multiple projects. You will work with the engineering team and/or the project manager/program director. Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills will also be needed to complete the functions of this role. Keys to your success will be your ability organize and track engineering documents and related project records. Responsibilities to include:Maintaining document control procedures and guidelines.Processing documents through all procedural steps in accordance with defined procedures and guidelines.Ensuring that pre-established document control requirements are satisfactorily met through the duration of the project.Maintaining an established data distribution system for the assigned project based upon client, project, department, and supplier requirements.Verifying retention requirements, arranging document cataloging, packing, and long-term storage or disposal of appropriate documents at time of closeout.Providing assistance to users in capturing and locating electronic information.Facility tasks: maintaining/updating office signage, coordinating fire extinguisher inspections, coordinating fleet vehicle maintenance/inspections, potentially making supply ordersAdministrative support: logistics for large gatherings/formal client meetingsMaintaining staff qualification databases (e.g. RAQS for MTO) and following up with staff regarding expiry and renewal applicationsAssisting with new-hire prep, such as ordering headsets and PPE, requesting photos, phones, and submitting requests for ID badgesMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 75 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
