Engineering Director, R&D

Description We are looking for an experienced Engineering leader for our ADE product development team in Singapore. The Engineering development for our products is done mostly by the team in Singapore with some collaboration with teams in US headquarters. The engineering team encompasses Mechanical/Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Electrical and Optical engineering and some specialized functions.The ideal candidate will have experience leading such a multi-functional HW engineering team for product development requiring a strong technical background, ideally in Mechanical Engineering and/or Optics. Experience in the Semi equipment industry and knowledge of interferometry is a plus.You will be responsible for providing directions to your team members and for influencing the technical decision making both in the team in SGP but also in collaboration with Marketing and Technology guides in US.You will have to drive prioritization and execution, while leading outstanding engineers and engineering managers in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in the overall success of our organization by planning, leading and overseeing various engineering and product development projects, timelines and making nevessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.Minimum QualificationsMSc, PhD Degree10+ years experience in relevant fields of engineering development7+ years of management experienceDemonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring and leading technical organizationsExcellent communications skills (verbal and written) across diverse groups and with various collaboratorsStrategic problem solverExperience working with distributed teams
