Engineering Intern
Job Description AECOM is currently seeking an Engineering Intern based in our Edmonton, AB , Canada office. Job Responsibilities Include: Provide engineering services to projects either individually or as part of a larger project team. Field work involving travel, shift work, and long hours Topographic and construction surveying Construction supervision and inspections Measuring and tracking quantities Calculations to ensure the accuracy of our designs and identify the need for adjustments Providing daily construction reports Ensuring the projects’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner Working with and maintaining a positive relationship with clients and contractors Data input and analysis using spreadsheets and modeling software Calculating grades, volumes, distances, etc. Compiling reports All AECOM employees are required to carry out their duties in a safe and responsible manner. Qualifications Minimum requirements: Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and must have completed at least 3 years of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the master’s degree are eligible to apply for this position. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
