Generate report for Software Quality and process ( e.g., [Optional - ASPICE], CMMI ) Understand the SDLC – V or [Optional - Agile] - Products Development Life Cycle (Systems, Software) Go through the Requirements Management tools ( e.g., DOORS ) for compliance Safety and Security analysis like DFA, Fault injection, FTA, DFA and FMEDA, HARA, [Optional - TARA, Pen Test, Threat Vector Analysis] etc Understand customer specific requirements (CSR) and map their applicability asin Safety and Security requirements from design to production [Optional - Review and attest the UNR-, UNR- (CSMS and SUMS) projects compliance] The role: At ZF we put safety first in everything we built. The ideal candidate isn’t just experienced in the field of safety, he/she can translate that experience into solutions, whether process related or product related. He/she can be able to understand safety concepts from the ground up, understand priorities and risk management and work cross functionally to set up and execute safety assessments as well as safety audits. He/she has an eye for successful best practices and process improvements. Overview of things you’ll do: Plan and conduct ISO assessments and audits Plan and execute confirmation reviews and provide feedback to the project Support the projects with guidance in (e.g.) safety analysis in all domains (system, hardware, software) Supporting in analyzes and escalation of safety anomalies Hands on support for projects regarding safety requirements for internal and external processes Develop and improve ZF CVS safety process with adequate risk management, assurance, and mitigation Monitor and analyze the efficacy of the current risk control mechanisms and provide practical guidance to leadership Further develop the safety culture in ZF CVS by improving knowledge and understanding of functional safety in particular of ISO Training and mentoring team members regarding ISO and other safety standards Work with senior management to build and improve a safety culture Representing ZF CVS functional safety to customers, on conferences and in committees Generate Reports for with ISO , [Optional - ISO ] Audits and Assessment Knowledge of Functional Safety & CyberSecurity Theory, help engineers with respect to Functional Safety and CySecurity domain clarifications. REQUIREMENTS The profile: You have relevant work experience (10-15+ years) in Safety operations with a track record of achievements (e.g. ISO certification) Proven experience in having developed and implemented a safety strategy, ideally in a complex, highly regulated industry, and involving deployment across both technology and real-world solutions You have worked on safety-critical applications/projects You ideally have a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or in Business You thrive in a fast-changing environment, can adapt quickly, are ready to execute fast and can make a distinction between the long term and the immediate priorities. Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-organizational with diverse teams such as Product and Engineering, Quality, Operations, Legal, Process and Policy Ability to effectively escalate to internal and external stakeholder Team player with high energy, great judgement, reliability, excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Detailed knowledge and proven experience with ISO [Optional - ] Knowledge of Functional Safety [Optional - Cybersecurity Theory,] with specific on-the-job experience. Preferable if holds Safety certification Experience in Software Quality and process ( e.g., ASPICE, CMMI ) Experience with Products Development Life Cycle (Systems, Software) Knowledge of Requirements Management tools ( e.g., DOORS ) Very good understanding of safety engineering methods e.g. fault injection, FTA, DFA and FMEDA, HARA, TARA, Pen Test, Threat Vector Analysis etc Proven record of taking customer requirements from design to production Optional knowledge of UNR-, UNR- (CSMS and SUMS)
