About the Opportunity:Sterling Engineering's 20+ year client, a leading manufacturer of US made custom thermal components is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join their organization. This is a stable company whom has been a leader in their market for over 50 years with a diverse book of business in all industries setting them up for stability and growth.
Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage all maintenance activities for equipment and systems.
• Supervise and support the maintenance team, and coordinate tasks with external contractors.
• Develop and conduct ongoing training for maintenance staff to enhance skills and safety.
• Oversee and improve the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to maintain ISO certification.
• Create and manage a comprehensive maintenance inventory and parts system.
• Maintain detailed machine and facility operator/service manuals.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA LOTO and NFPA 70E.
• Lead and coordinate machinery installations, plant relocations, and equipment/system moves.
• Oversee building systems such as electrical, pneumatic, communication, water, and HVAC.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical field required.
• 10+ years’ overall experience in maintenance, planning, or facilities engineering.
• 5+ years of management experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
• Solid understanding of industrial electrical distribution systems
