Engineering Manager

CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail.  Cross River Rail is a 10.2-kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.  The project also includes construction of four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street, Roma Street and redevelopment of the existing Dutton Park station. Reporting to the Precinct Manager the Engineering Manager will sit within the precinct team.  You will deliver robust and cost-effective design for the project, meeting scope and technical requirements while in line with budget and program constraints. You will be responsible for: Management of the Design Package delivery of the station Design Consultants Technical Reviews of Design Packages and Value Engineering Support in managing Design Consultants Interface Management between different Consultants and different disciplines Attendance of technical meetings Minimum requirements for this role include the following: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering within a related discipline. Previous tunnelling project experience.
