Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Lincolnshire, Onsite, Fast-Paced Food Manufacturing Company

Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience

As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the food manufacturing facility. Your primary focus will be on minimizing downtime, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You will lead a team of skilled technicians and work closely with production teams to support seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and lead the maintenance team, ensuring effective performance and development.

* Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.

* Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimize disruption to production.

* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, optimizing costs while maintaining high standards.

* Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.

* Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for specialized maintenance and repair work.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

* Ensure the proper training and development of maintenance staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.

* Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, including preventative and predictive maintenance.

* Hands-on experience with a wide range of manufacturing equipment and systems.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

* Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

* Relevant qualifications in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field are desirable.
