Engineering Manager

About the Role



In this key leadership position, you will collaborate with product, design, and programme teams to drive the successful delivery of engineering projects across UK and international markets. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensuring solutions meet operational requirements and deliver value to global clients. This is a rare opportunity to influence the development of advanced technologies.



Key Responsibilities:



* Lead engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.



* Develop and manage engineering plans, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities.



* Establish work structures and strategies to streamline project delivery.



* Ensure compliance with design and production processes throughout the project lifecycle.



* Present technical progress and solutions to senior leadership.



* Support team development through mentoring and coaching.



Required Skills & Experience:



* Significant experience leading complex engineering projects



* Familiarity with systems engineering principles and product-based development.



* Strong understanding of project lifecycles and delivery processes.



* Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and resource allocation.



* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly desirable.



* Eligibility for security clearance is essential (existing clearance advantageous).



Working Environment & Flexibility:



* Hybrid working arrangements allow a mix of remote and on-site work, with flexibility tailored to project needs.



* Regular on-site presence at a key UK location is required, with occasional travel both domestically and internationally.
