The Engineering Manager will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and play a key role in shaping software architecture, driving technical excellence, and fostering a high-performance engineering culture. Important: This is a full-time, remote position for candidates based in Argentina . Responsibilities Lead and manage a fully remote development team of ~20 engineers across frontend and backend disciplines Collaborate with CTO and Chief AI Officer to define and execute the technical vision and strategy for our products Oversee software architecture and ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our solutions Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team deliverables to meet company goals Guide the team in adopting best practices for coding, testing, and DevOps processes Foster a collaborative engineering culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and innovation Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership roles Hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., React, Python) Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) Strong software architecture expertise, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable systems Experience with AWS, including certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) Proven ability to manage and scale remote engineering teams effectively A track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills C1/C2 (advanced/proficient) level English is required Experience in any of the following is preferred, not required : Experience working in startups or similar, fast-paced environments Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, tools, and applications Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud-based applications Benefits 20 days of PTO Local public holidays off Reimbursement for relevant certifications (e.g., AWS) Ready to take the next step in your career?
