Engineering Manager (Tools & Infrastructure) 

Overview of PositionChange Healthcare (CHC) is looking for anEngineering Manager in the payments organization to lead CI/CD based test framework development for React and Node based NextGen Payments. Change Healthcare engineering team is architecting a cloud-based payments platform in emerging technologies. As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee a team of Software Engineers, guide and head them in building testing framework to reduce testing errors, improve test efficiency, maximize test coverage, minimize manual intervention and maximizing reusability of code.You are a passionate Software Engineer with deep technical know-how and hands-on experience implementing various practices and tools in the automation toolchain. You lean on your managerial skills to drive the automation culture in our organization. You will work closely and follow strategic direction set by senior management on test automation OKRs.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Manages medium sized Engineering team and work efforts of engineers.Driving test automation capability assessments across multiple products and providing industry subject matter expertise defining test automation capability transformation strategy and roadmaps.Facilitate automation discussions within the team and external stakeholders throughout product development lifecycle.Designing and directing all aspects of CI/CD guidelines and processes adhering to Industry best practices.What are the requirements needed for this position?Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Software team including production release/deployment, monitoring and reporting.5-7 years of experience with automation and tooling for CI/CD based automated build, delivery and release of software.5-7 years of experience with code repository management, code merge, quality checks, CI/CD using Jenkins, Git, Gradle, Maven, Artifactory, Ant, JUnit orTestNG framework, Selenium or other automated testing tools.5-7 years of experience in Scrum / Agile development methodologies.5-7 years of experience in design and implementation of CI/CD or testing framework solutions.Experience with test-driven development, building test plans, unit tests, and automated testing frameworks.3-5 years of experience in automation scripting using Bash, Python, GoAbility to deliver solutions in cross-functional teams and working under simultaneously on other parts of product/program.Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills.Willingness to learn and pivot quickly on technologies and design approaches.What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Experience with AWS tools such as CodePipeline, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, including Jenkins, Octopus.Engineering leadership experience with a medium to large team preferred.Experience with tooling for automated Software testing and QE in public cloud.Use of DevOps tools and framework in continuous delivery to lead production support.What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?General office demands.Be able to participate in virtual meetings that will require a flexible schedule to at times participate in different time zones for team. Meetings will be in Pacific Time Zone but occasionally put time aside for communication to employees in APAC.
