Engineering project manager Asia

About this PositionHCB Asia’s business is rapidly expanding, leading to an increasein both the number and size of investment projects in the region. The objectiveof this role is to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provideengineering support for capital investment projects throughout the entireproject lifecycle, from feasibility analysis to vertical start-up. Theseprojects primarily focus on capacity expansion, continuous improvement, andinnovation.   What you´ll do Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, consolidate necessary inputs, and evaluate and develop engineering technical solutions.Conduct feasibility studies and develop engineering technical solutions to support business decision-making and the investment approval process.Manage and steer the execution of regional strategic projects with cross function team, being accountable for budget, timeline, standards, and scope of work.Act as a technical consultant, providing technical assistance and sharing knowledge with plant engineering, maintenance, and operation teams based on requests or assignments.Coordinate and interact with different suppliers including Henkel preferred suppliers.Support additional regional engineering tasks:-Implement a regional tracking system for CAPEX steering. -Implementation and tracking of maintenance Best Operating Practices (BOP).-Prepare materials and reports for Steering Committee meetings.-Monitoring and reporting on project timing, investment, and CAPEX, -Preparation of investments and managing allmolds related investments. What makes you a good fit University Degree in one of the followings engineering disciplines: mechanical, electrical, industrial, or chemical engineering  Minimum 8 years of experience in project management/technology management in a manufacturing environment preferable in FMCG. Familiar with one or several technologies such as mixing, filling and packing in FMCG. Mega project experience is a plus. Strong project management skills in China:-Proven record in a multinational environment.-Experience to manage project with over 10 M Euro investment including civil and production equipment. -Project experience with EPCM company is a plus. Strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and qualityAbility to lead and collaborate with multi-functional teams.Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills. Other languages are a plus.Skills in CAD software, MS Project, MS office tools.Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
