Fantastic company benefits include: Competitive Salary Holiday: 28 days paid holiday per annum (including Bank Holidays) Parking onsite Employee extras such as: flexible working hours, causal dress code, team social activities About the role: As an Engineering Support Lead , you will spend 50% of your time managing technical support for our customers by transforming issue descriptions into action plans and then completing or delegating tasks required to resolve the ticket. The remaining 50% of the time will be spent on development, calibrating and optimising of scientific instruments to meet customer expectations, conducting testing and translating customer feedback into requirements to drive forward product development. What we need: Graduate or Equivalent preferably robotics engineering or similar 2 years plus industry experience Experience developing and carrying out test plans Setting up electronic and/or scientific test equipment Experience in customer communication and expectation management Electronic system issue diagnosis and troubleshooting Experience following standard operating procedures Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work under pressure Demonstratable ability to work under own initiative Desire to travel occasionally to customer sites in the UK and internationally. Nice to have: Programming experience with Python or similar object orientated language Experience using a software debugger and understanding of error messages to clarify crashes or bugs within the software 2 years industry experience Experience in a customer facing role Knowledge of existing tools to conduct root cause analysis Experience of laboratory glovebox operations Experience handling chemicals Please apply by forwarding an up-to-date CV as soon as possible.
