Engineering Surveyor

Carmichaels are seeking an Engineering Surveyor to work on a major Highways project in Norfolk .



Duties include:



Support the Lead Surveyor and undertakes surveying duties to prioritise services demand on the project



Responsible for undertaking as-built and positional checks for the works



Responsible for surveying and setting out complex systems,



Provide technical support to the project as subject matter expert



Coach, mentor and develop less experienced surveyors / engineers to teach practicable survey / best practice techniques for setting out



Ensure project quality assurance processes are fully complied with



Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm.



Requirement for this post includes -



Experience working on major Tier 1 projects



An ability to provide survey solutions and proven mentoring skills



Full knowledge/understanding of structural precision setting out and monitoring



Experience/working knowledge of modern monitoring systems including geodetic & geotechnical is advantageous



Extensive knowledge of AutoCad, Civil 3D and survey software



CSCS, First Aid and legible to undertake a security clearance
