We are hiring an Engineering Technician to build, test, troubleshoot, and debug tunable filters in West Chester, OH!

Responsibilities

• Create PCB prototypes
• Proficient use of schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings and work instructions
• Build, test, troubleshoot and repair RF/microwave circuits
• Test subassemblies and systems
• Perform component level troubleshooting and repair of RF assembles and sub-assemblies (filters, LNAs, power amplifiers, power supplies, digital controllers, etc)
• Soldering and assembly

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in an electronics related field and 1+ years of experience in electronics, OR 10+ years of high level electronics experience
• Experience with RF based systems
• Experience with LabVIEW, CAD, and LPKF prototyping equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of J-STD-001 certification is preferred
• Knowledge in MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, ML-STD-704 and RTCA/DO-160 is a huge plus
• Knowledge of RF principles (filter operation, amplifier basics, insertion loss, return loss, VSWR and S-parameter measurements)
• Familiarity with commonly used test equipment like oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies, and network analyzers.
