MusicBreeds seeks dynamic and creative Teaching Artists to join our STEAM/Performing Arts Summer Camp team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for STEAM education and/or the performing arts and the ability to inspire and engage children ages 5-13. This role involves developing and delivering a curriculum integrating STEAM concepts with fine and performing arts activities, fostering a fun and educational environment.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a curriculum that combines STEAM AND/OR performing arts activities.
• Lead daily classes and workshops in Sound & Acoustics, Coding, Engineering & Product Building, etc.
• Create a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and learning.
• Plan and organize themed weeks, special projects, and showcase events
• Provide individualized attention and support to campers, adapting activities to meet diverse needs and interests.
• Collaborate with other camp staff to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about camper progress and camp activities.

Qualifications:

• Working on or has earned at least a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, Engineering, Science and/or a related field.
• Experience teaching or working with children in a camp, school, or similar setting.
• Strong background in STEM
• Strong English Communication Skills. Bilingual Teachers are Highly Encouraged to Apply!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification ().
• Will undergo a Background check
