If you’re a passionate and motivated individual looking to kickstart your career as a Civil Engineer, we want you to join our Public Works team. EMH&T is currently looking for an enthusiastic Civil Engineer with exceptional communication and analytical skills to work collaboratively with CAD Technicians, Engineers and other professionals to support private and public clients. You will work under the mentorship of an Engineer or PM who will coach and guide you throughout your career development. You will participate in the creation of plan drawings and calculations while utilizing Auto CAD civil 3D. You will have the opportunity to be responsible for portions of projects and will typically be involved in multiple projects at the same time providing you with a wide of experience. You will be guided on how to apply your engineering education to practical design solutions. Projects may include public municipality work, sewer and waterline design, park design, roadway and utility design, economic planning, paving projects plus more, and you will perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. FE exam passed in Ohio. Prior work experience, including internships or co-op experiences in civil, construction, or a related area and exposure to engineering consulting firm environment; and familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software to develop work plans, .
