Environment & Sustainability Engineer

E&S Engineer Performance: Assess and verify how a mega project site complies with environmental section regulations. Provide new system and component design that reduce the negative impact on the work site environment. Conduct research on the environmental impact of the construction project, analyse data, and perform audit checks for sustainability performance. Address problems and develop environmental solutions to prevent negative impacts on the health and safety work environment. Conduct on-site Audit checks to monitor and oversee the implementation of environmental sustainability actions within ongoing work. Verify onsite audit with recommended solutions and development plan and follow the progress. Document and maintain plans, requirements, protocols, permits and standard operating procedures. Maintain awareness of new green sources that could be sued in construction projects with full details and initiate effective usage in megaprojects considering cost and productivity factors. Coordinate with the procurement /supply chain department for possible purchasing construction materials matching with E&S strategy. Keep abreast of legislative changes in environmental law and the relative impact on megaproject construction jobs. Keep aside relevant environmental bodies such as local authorities/communities/social committees, public bodies, and competent bodies to protect the company project from bad reputation trending or legal actions Self-Management Define performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Environment & Sustainability Megaproject Manager and ensure that the goals are monitored and achieved during the course of the year. Take ownership of your learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the Environment & Sustainability Megaproject Manager and working towards bridging the gaps through various means beyond just training. Understand the competencies relevant to the role, and work towards displaying as well as developing these effectively. Keep abreast of relevant professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional networks. Handle any additional tasks as per business needs. Policies, Processes & Procedures Follow all relevant company and ePMO department policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality. Required Academic Qualification Specification :Bachelor Degree :Bioscience, Biology, Environmental Science Years of Experience 5+ years of relevant experience in construction Environment Sustainability engineering role. LEED Green Associate, Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP) or relevant in advance.
