ATL is seeking Environmental Building Inspector (experienced and entry-level) candidates to perform hazardous materials building surveys. Successful candidates will be trained and certified. Although not required, candidates with NYDOL Inspector certification and experience performing hazardous materials building surveys are strongly encouraged to apply. Environmental Building Inspector Qualifications:
- Science, Engineering, or related degree
- A valid New York State driver’s license
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Understanding of building composition and systems
- A positive attitude with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Experience with Word and Excel software programs
- High regard for client service and satisfaction
Environmental Building Inspector Responsibilities:
- Perform office and field assignments as required
- Lead asbestos and hazardous materials survey personnel for directed assignments
- Review and distribute laboratory analysis reports
- Maintain regulatory compliance related to building materials inspections
- Preparation and distribution of technical reports
- Maintain equipment and ensure safe sampling protocols are followed
