Environmental Compliance Manager - Waste and Recycling
You may have had experience with: Soil remediation and Analysis, MRF, EfW, Transfer Station, Anaerobic Digestion, IVC (In-Vessel Composting), Muckaway, Waste Management, Recycling, Scrap Metal, Landfill
Package: £40,000 - £45,000 plus Car or Car allowance, Laptop, Mobile, Pension
Location: Chester and surrounding areas with travel across North west, Yorkshire and West Midlands
Previous Job Titles: You may have been an Environmental Manager, Hazardous Waste Management Operations Manager, Recycling Site Manager, Environmental Compliance Manager or Advisor, Compliance Manager, SHEQ Manager or SHE Assistant
Role: Environmental Compliance Manager - Waste and Recycling
You will ensure that waste material is transferred and processed in accordance with the client’s waste management permit
Knowledge of chemistry to qualify reports of waste materials would be beneficial
You will ensure you work in compliance with the company's Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems, Policies and Procedures
Experience - Environmental Compliance Manager - Waste and Recycling
We are looking for someone with an understanding of making compliant waste movements, you will also have a basic understanding of waste in a commercial sense. Creating soil analysis reports and planning consents for disposal of material to Landfill
Qualifications - Environmental Compliance Manager - Waste and Recycling
(Desirable but not essential)
IOSH / NEBOSH
WAMITB COTC (Certificate of Technical Competence) in Waste Management
Environmental Science Degree or Masters (Graduates will be considered)
ISO 9001 Auditing or Implementation
ISO 14001 Auditing or Implementation
ISO 18001 Auditing or Implementation
Full UK Driving License Essential
Any pertaining to commonly used IT systems such as Microsoft Office or Databases
