In the role of Environmental EIT, we'll count on you to:
Serve as the field sampling lead/competent safety person for water sampling field work activities.
Prepare required documentation for water sampling events including bottle labeling, field worksheets, and chain of custody forms.
Perform quality control review of field documentation and lab reports.
Prepare written plans and reports related to field investigations and data collection activities including discharge monitoring reports.
Upload discharge monitoring report data to State of Hawaii Department of Health system.
Support Project Manager for scheduling and coordination of water sampling events.
Support monthly inventory of equipment and supplies and order/replace as needed.
Perform cleaning of sampling equipment.
Support and preparation of work plans, safety plans, and standard operating procedures.
Perform other duties required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related Engineering field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
