
Environmental Engineer
The ArcelorMittal Europe Tubular Products team is looking for an Environmental Engineer (M/F).
The position can be based in any of the following countries (Spain, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Romania).
As Environmental Engineer, your main responsibilities & missions will be:
- Collect, monitor, analyze and report environmental data related to our industrial operations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, national, and international environmental regulations and standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact.
- Participate in environmental audits and assessments, both internal and external, to evaluate environmental performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and community groups, on environmental matters.
- Utilize environmental monitoring and data collection technologies, software, and tools to streamline data collection and analysis processes.
Skills & Background required:
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years+ experience in similar roles.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English, proficiency in any other European language would be an asset.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools, including software for environmental monitoring.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional multinational teams.
- Experience in conducting environmental audits and assessments is a plus.
