RINDT, a civil engineering and environmental health & safety (EHS) compliance consulting firm based in Marietta Georgia, has an opening for a senior environmental remediation consultant. The candidate will join our EHS compliance team and assist in providing EHS services to clients across many industries.

We are seeking a Remediation and Compliance Specialist with 5 to 10 years of experience in groundwater remediation of chlorinated compounds and petroleum hydrocarbons. Landfill post-closure-care experience . Candidate should have a track record of successfully reducing contaminants to below Maximum Contaminant Levels and working with regulators. The role requires preparing technical proposals and cost estimates.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Science, or another related field
• Five or more years of relevant work experience required
• Knowledge of RCRA, CWA, UST/AST systems, and federal and state regulations
• Project management experience in the environmental field, with strong budgeting and cost-estimating skills
• Safety experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and contribute meaningfully to an established team of engineers, and scientists to meet client deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
• Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on client service and cultivating long-standing relationships
• Fluency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project (required)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
