AdvM2 is a Veteran Owned environmental consulting company located in Castle Pines, CO.  We have projects across the US and Canada.  We are excited to announce an opening for a Field Technician in the Northern Colorado area.   Duties include installation, maintenance, and calibration of meteorological and air quality monitoring sensors at client sites as well as reporting in accordance with EPA and specific client guidelines.  Additional duties include maintenance of existing systems, software set up and updates, troubleshooting, and client relations.   This position will primarily involve work across the western United States.  Our current clients include mining companies and government agencies.  The successful candidate will be expected to travel up to two weeks per month.  We are looking for an individual who prefers working autonomously, is self-motivated, self-sufficient, and looking to grow with the company.   We are looking for someone who is excited about the possibility of working through all phases of a project in a very hands-on capacity.   Duties include system installation, sensor wiring, logger programming, network set up, data analysis, and reporting.  We work with clients of all backgrounds and from different industries so good written and oral communication skills are critical.  In addition, we continue to develop new monitoring systems that are cloud based and take full advantage of IoT technology so curiosity and a desire to continuously improve existing systems is a plus.   This position has significant growth potential within the company.  Good work ethic and reliability is a must.  A degree in a science or experience in a similar field is but not required.  Effective computer skills and familiarity with standard software packages (Word, Excel, etc…) are required.  We are a veteran owned company so military experience is a plus.
