Job descriptionAt Altrad Babcock, our Major Projects division is experiencing tremendous growth, and we are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager (HS&E) to join our team in Renfrew, to support the Major Project team during EPC delivery, in the development of HSE Management Plans, deployment of Company QHS&E Policy and delivery of business goals. You will support the team in delivering effective HS&E performance whilst engendering a positive safety culture minimising environmental impact. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will support the Project Manager(s), in developing and applying the company HS&E policies and strategies and promoting a positive HS&E culture to achieve successful HS&E performance, while continually developing tactical level engagement strategies that facilitate achievement of company HS&E goals as well as project and legislative requirements. Backed by a Degree Level Environmental Diploma/Degree Level OH&S Diploma and 5+ years’ experience, our new Environmental Health and Safety Manager (HS&E) will have the ability to develop and manage project CPP’s, CEMP’s, SWMP’s, Aspects & Impact Assessments and other key deliverables required within the projects. You will have a proven background in industry EPC HS&E Manager position with capability to drive and promote HS&E values, and lead on all HSE matters. Our new Environmental Health and Safety Manager will have sufficient and appropriate site and project and industry experience both internally and externally.
