Environmental Journalist

A company is looking for an Environmental Journalist on a contract basis.


Key Responsibilities

Research and write brief profiles of new member organizations focused on environmental issues


Conduct virtual meetings with member representatives and gather necessary information for profiles


Submit drafts for review and ensure final approval of profiles before publication

Required Qualifications

2-Year Degree required


Experience writing on climate and environmental issues for mainstream media outlets


Ability to produce 2-4 profiles per week


Familiarity with research tools and platforms related to environmental data


Proficiency in gathering non-copyrighted images for use in profiles
