About the Opportunity The Environment Manager will drive the development and implementation of CleanCo's environmental strategy, ensuring alignment with both our strategic objectives and external regulations. Leading a team of environmental professionals, you will ensure the effective implementation, monitoring, resolution, and continual improvement of our environmental strategy and initiatives across our power generation assets. You will oversee and monitor compliance with environmental standards and policies, reporting on the environmental impacts and risks of our activities. This Brisbane-based role offers a flexible working model and will also require semi-regular regional travel to our CleanCo sites. About you To be successful in this role you must have: Strong strategic and operational leadership experience with a focus on developing and building team capability. Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental strategies, standards, and policies in complex organisations. Experience in heavy industry, renewable power generation, or related fields, with a strong understanding of diverse environmental environments. Proven track record in building Environmental capability and culture across an organisation. Experience in strategic planning, resource management, and risk mitigation. Ability to set and achieve ambitious goals, drive performance, and deliver tangible results aligned with organisational environmental objectives. Ethical behaviour, professionalism, and resilience in high-pressure environments. Proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious goals, driving performance, and delivering results. Ability to develop strong internal relationships with senior stakeholders (e.g., CEO, ELT, etc.) to drive organisational change. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., Sustainability, Operations Management) and extensive managerial and professional experience in a related role.
