Environmental Manager (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:Prepare reports daily for environmental data collection.Environmental representation on First Nation issues.Prepare presentations for Management/Community/First Nation Organizations/Regulators.Make recommendations to management on any operating or capital requirements.Work with consultants and outside contractors for mine rehabilitation and tailing improvement projects.Developing sampling and reporting plans.Review discharge data and identify trends.Field Sampling according to both Federal and Provincial Regulations and Site Requirements.Shipping all water samples to various Independent labs.Data management for all sampling and in-house sampling program. Qualifications: Post-Secondary Education in Environmental Studies or a related field.2+ years experience in a related position.Working knowledge of pertinent Provincial and Federal Regulatory requirements.Ability to work under pressure with a high level of commitment to meeting deadlines and producing high quality work. This is a hybrid position with preference for candidates to be based in Winnipeg. All Candidates must be willing to travel to Bisset Manitoba during busy season.
