Environmental Manager - Multiple Locations Available

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a Major Waste Company with the Recruitment of an Environmental Manager to join their growing and dynamic team. Hours - Mon-Fri-09:00-17:00 - Hybrid option of 2 days per week. Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 + Market Leading Benefits + Perks Main responsibilities: Meeting regulatory deadlines for NIEA returns for all Group Companies Ensuring the correct EWC codes are used for material arriving and being dispatched at sites NIEA liaison Provision of training alongside departmental managers t ensure staff are fully aware of Compliance implications Active involvement with management and contribution to management meetings Provision of reports as required for management & board Essential Criteria: Minimum 5 years' experience dealing with waste management permits/licencing COTC holder/WAMITAB History of providing reports to Senior Management on a regular and as required basis Contribution to Senior Management meetings Regulatory Reporting & liaison with Regulation Bodies Hands on experience of maintaining and contributing to Business accreditations such as ISO's etc. Experience of working cross departmental to ensure deadlines and business needs are met Desirable Criteria: Leading a team Experience of both waste and metal recycling industry Experience in dealing with a multi-site business Customer reporting For more info on this position or more within please contact Jack Groves @ VANRATH for a confidential chat.
