Job Overview:

GreenWorks is seeking experienced Environmental Professionals to join our team as Environmental Partners on a 1099 independent contractor basis. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in environmental site assessments (ESAs), air quality testing, mold inspections, asbestos surveys, and other environmental consulting services. As an Environmental Partner, you will conduct on-site assessments, testing, and compliance reviews for projects across Dallas, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments, including mold, asbestos, lead, and radon testing.
  • Evaluate environmental hazards, contamination risks, and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Provide recommendations for remediation and mitigation strategies.
  • Generate detailed environmental reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with EPA, TCEQ, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with property owners, developers, real estate professionals, and city officials.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Relevant environmental certifications/licenses required, such as:
  • Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
  • Licensed Mold Assessor (Texas)
  • Asbestos Inspector Certification
  • Lead Risk Assessor Certification
  • HERS Rater, BPI Analyst, or LEED Accreditation ( but not required)
  • Experience in environmental assessments, industrial hygiene, or environmental compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage flexible inspection schedules.
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
  • Reliable transportation for travel to job sites within the assigned region.
  • Must have liability insurance as an independent contractor.
  • Ability to pass a background check (if required by clients).
