We are currently seeking an Environmental/Hazardous Materials Project Manager to support activities in performing Asbestos, Lead and Mold Surveys, Indoor Air Quality Investigations and Soil/Groundwater studies primarily in the state of Maryland.
Our goal is to hire an individual who is extremely motivated, competent, and professional about performing required tasks. Candidates must be willing to work in a flexible and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Survey commercial, residential and other buildings for HAZMATs including asbestos, lead paint, PCBs, etc.
*Able to work on roofs, ladders and crawlspaces
*Monitor asbestos abatement in accordance with EPA, OSHA and AHERA regulations.
*Collect samples for determination of Asbestos, Lead or Mold content.
*Assist in conducting surveys, preparation of abatement design and specifications.
*Assisting in report writing, including preparation of detailed logs and data summary tables.
*Position entails frequent travel throughout Maryland Delaware and Pennsylvania . Valid driver"s license and good driving record required.
*Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
*Flexible hour schedule
- evening and weekend work as well.
Asbestos Building Inspector and Air Monitoring Licenses highly recommended
Lead Paint Inspector and/or Risk Assessor License highly recommended
2 Year Minimum Experience Required
OSHA
-40 Hour HAZWOPER Preferred
