We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are seeking an experienced

Environmental Project Manager

(Engineer/Geologist) to serve our Los Angeles/Orange County remediation projects and clients. This

full-time, hybrid

position is based out of our

Costa Mesa, CA

office location.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


The successful candidate will:

Serve as a key member of the environmental group with the ability to step in and immediately manage projects in southern California.


Work collaboratively with a passionate team supporting a wide variety of clients with challenging projects.


Understand client needs and be able to develop strong client relationships.


Have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements in California.


Be capable of fully managing financial, technical, and regulatory aspects of projects.


Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.


Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client and regulatory deliverables.


Be effective in assigning and managing work.


Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills to junior level staff.


Possess skills in quality control, planning, cost estimating, and scheduling.


Direct environmental field observation and testing programs.


Be able to effectively manage various remediation projects.


Develop a working understanding of H&A's other consulting practice areas and actively support marketing other services to existing clients.


SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Minimum Bachelor of Science (Master's degree ) in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geology


Minimum 7-10 years of relevant consulting experience in Southern California with: environmental regulations, environmental investigations and site characterization, remediation technologies, operation and maintenance, and construction.


Have CA professional registration PE/PG - or can get it within 6 months of hire


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Must be proficient at writing, reviewing, and editing technical reports to meet scope and quality objectives and client expectations.


Ability to comply with the Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company Handbook.

The salary range for this position in

Costa Mesa, CA is $110,000 - $135,000 annually . Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.
