Sovereign Consulting Inc. seeks an Environmental Project Manager with 4+ years of environmental project management experience in New Jersey (Cherry Hill and/or Robbinsville NJ locations).
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of environmental projects with a focus on petrochemical and retail petroleum UST remediation.
Responsibilities:
- Direct oversight and execution of consulting tasks for remediation projects
- Budget management and project cost-to-closure estimation
- Oversight and management of field activities, including drilling, groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, in-situ remediation, and UST closures & excavations
- Supervision and guidance of staff level positions
- Collection of supplemental site characterization data and information
- Preparation of milestone reports per NJDEP Rules and Regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Project Manager with direct oversight responsibilities for remediation projects, specifically in NJ
- Retail petroleum experience
- Extensive knowledge of NJDEP guidance, Rules and Regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with regard to writing technical reports and contributing to proposal preparation, project scoping, and project budget tracking
- Organizational skills and prior experience with MS Office products
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training. Current 8-Hour refresher

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
