Youre encouraged to have a growth mindset and are given the space to develop personally and professionally, building a flexible career that works for you.Role accountabilities:Please note that these include but are not limited to,Fieldwork, including groundwater sampling and installation of groundwater monitoring wells, soil characterization and sampling, soil vapor/indoor air sampling and remediation monitoringStage 2 Preliminary Site Investigations, Detailed Site Investigations, Confirmation of RemediationSite inspections, Phase 1 Site Assessments, and compliance audit supportSubcontractor oversight including drillers, utility locators, etcAdditional duties may include handling day to day tasks such as:Data managementWriting and preparation of reports, work plans, letters, and memorandumPreparing cost estimatesConducting project-related research (historical data, regulations, etc.)Preparing periodic status/program reportsQualifications Bachelors Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field. 3 years or more of related environmental work experience Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle for field workKey Attributes:Strong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication, interpersonal and writing skillsEffective time management skillsStrong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)A commitment to Health and Safety excellenceWillingness to work independently in a field setting for extend periods of time, with some work taking place in remote areasOther experience/knowledge that may also be of interest:An appropriate professional designation in Engineering (P.Eng), Geoscience (P.Geo.), Biology (RPBio), Chemistry (P.Chem.), Agrology (P.Ag.) or similar or are on track to obtain one is considered as an added valueEnvironmental and construction monitoringAdditional Information
