What are we looking for?

The Environmental Staff Project Manager/Staff Scientist/Geologist is responsible for supporting the Environmental department in all services including Phase I/II ESA's, asbestos surveys, lead-based paint survey, UST/LUST assessments, site remediation, soil/groundwater sampling and more. This person will complete fieldwork as well as work on technical reports and proposals. This position will travel up to 20% of the time depending on project load/location.

Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)

What you'll do:

Perform environmental services including Phase I and II environmental site assessments (ESAs),


Perform soil and groundwater sampling


Assist in assessment and remediation and field observation documentation.


Perform industrial hygiene services to include assisting with asbestos, indoor air quality, and lead surveys.


Ability to prepare technical proposals and reports


Ability to communicate with clients and regulators to keep projects moving and on schedule


Ability to self-manage and make decisions during all phases of a project


Ability to manage and control project budgets and build solid relationships with clients

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field


3+ years of proven technical environmental consulting experience


Must be able to perform tasks in varying field/office conditions


Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one's discipline


Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities


Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written


Ability to travel up to 20% of the time


Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)


Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently


Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound


Ability to kneel and squat occasionally


Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time


Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)


Ability to climb occasionally
